Join us for a night of fine art, wine and friends in support of Paris Press on Tuesday, November 11th at Studio 385.
11/11 Art Night celebrates the intersection between the visual arts and literature. Work that will be auctioned at 11/11 Art Night is eclectic, cutting-edge, and classic: from prints by outsider painter Howard Finster to a handmade book by performance artist Pat Oleszko; from the rare Marshall Strawberry offered by environmental sculptor Leah Gauthier to photographs by Baldomero Fernandez, Alessandra Sanguinetti, and Hans Soderquist.
Proceeds will go directly to Paris Press, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) independent press that publishes daring and beautiful books by neglected women writers, and sponsors educational outreach programs and readings around the country. The artists who have generously donated pieces to 11/11 Art Night to support Paris Press prove, once again, Muriel Rukeyser’s claim that all the arts are related: there are no boundaries between disciplines. Tickets are tax-deductible for a suggested donation of $15 with RSVP, $20 at the door. For more information, please visit www.parispress.org/1111
