Who I Am
I'm a fiction writer, fiction editor, former staffer at The New Yorker, Forbes Inc, and New York Times Custom Publishing. My editorial work has appeared in a variety of magazines (all of the way from Maxim to Good Housekeeping). My copy writing has been featured in The New Yorker, The Atlantic, and Condé Nast Traveler.
I am the recipient of scholarships to Bread Loaf Writers' Conference (a difficult award to get) and Summer Literary Seminars in Russia.
I've been anthologized in four times. My nonfiction has been praised in The New York Times. My work as an editor was lauded in Esquire.
I have an MFA from Columbia University and a screenplay of mine was once optioned by a major film production company.
