Who I Am
I'm a fiction writer, fiction editor, former staffer at The New Yorker, Forbes Inc, and New York Times Custom Publishing. My editorial work has appeared in a variety of magazines (all of the way from Maxim to Good Housekeeping). My copy writing has been featured in The New Yorker, The Atlantic, and Condé Nast Traveler.
I am the recipient of scholarships to Bread Loaf Writers' Conference (a difficult award to get) and Summer Literary Seminars in Russia.
I've been anthologized in four times. My nonfiction has been praised in The New York Times. My work as an editor was lauded in Esquire.
I have an MFA from Columbia University and a screenplay of mine was once optioned by a major film production company.

Sunday Salon: How It Went
That reading was one of my best. I read a short story I’ve been working on, “Burning From the Inside.” I’m glad it worked in front of a live audience. Supposedly the reading will be on YouTube at some point.
